Ein stilles Stück für Gitarre, das sehr bezaubernd ist. Die Saitenstimmung ist das open tuning D-G-D-g-h-d (auch Taro Patch genannt). Da Mountain Silence einfach zu spielen ist, kann es auch von Gitarren-Anfängern sehr gut nachgespielt werden. Aber auch alle anderen Gitarristen dieser Welt rufe ich auf, Mountain Silence zu spielen! Die wohl häufigste auf Hawaii genutzte Saitenstimmung ist das Taro Patch. Hierbei wird die Gitarre in einem G-Dur-Akkord gestimmt und zwar wie folgt: D-G-D-g-h-d. Ich selber habe viele Gitarrenstücke für das Taro Patch komponiert und so auch dieses hier: Aloha Blues! Ein Fingerpick für alle Freunde der Gitarrenmusik von Hawaii – verbunden mit dem Akkordmuster des traditionellen Blues. The most common string tuning used in Hawaii is the taro patch. The guitar is tuned in a G major chord as follows: D-G-D-g-b-d.
